Do not look at the pictures showing the phone screen through the cover as you can not see through it nearly as good as any marketing images make out. You can only make out large text like your clock but it is impossible to read notifications as they are very blurred through the cover. I do not know why they made the cover so matte like, a clearer cover would have been much better to read through and worked just as well.
The case otherwise works as designed, sits nicely on the phone and looks great. The touch screen works surprisingly well through the cover. So it is good to check the time, answer calls and snooze alarms without opening the cover but otherwise unless you have your font incredibly large you will unfortunately have to open the cover to make out and read everything else.
