Love this case, but I was expecting a square cut out for the camera, but it turned out to be a circle cut out. Overall the case itself is excellent and does the job in protecting the device.

Due to the uneven contact between the gel cover and the back of the phone it makes it look as though there is oil between the two surfaces. All previous gel covers have not had this effect. I would not have bought it had I known and the cost of return makes it uneconomic.

The S8 feels very nice in the hand, and this case in no way detracts from this. It is indeed thin, fits very snugly, and protects the top, bottom and corners, while leaving the side clear if you're using the edge menu. I haven't tested it's protective qualities from dropping the phone (thankfully).

The plastic cover does feel very rubbery, but it does look like it will provide good protection to the phone, and it doesn't appear to affect the sensitivity of the touch screen. I would imagine that would be perfect for someone working in a dusty area/have dirty on their hands. However, the plastic is made up of lots of little dots, which means when viewing images, they can look low quality, and plain fabric views as a spot pattern. Therefore, it is not for me, and I have removed the cover after just 2 days of use.
