Worth the money spent to buy it.
277044I was hesitant at first to buy this case due to the fact that the sides and bottom of my brand new Sony Xperia would be bare from a protective case. It has now become my main case that I use daily. I found that I like the feel of the exposed metal sides in my hand. I can really appreciate the excellent build quality of this phone.
Side Sense is very easy to pull up since there is nothing along the sides to block my double tap gesture. I now and use it more often then before when I had another case on my Xperia.
The only downside I have found for me is that the kickstand can and does come off kinda easily when too much pressure is applied to it. I just pop it back on when it does come off.L. Carson Sony Xperia 1 ii U.S. 23rd October 2020 -

It also keeps screen gestures and the fingerprint scanner the most accessible and functional.
