I brought this case for my girlfriend as she really liked the ‘sparkly’ back to it.
As this was a CaseMate case I was certain there would be no problems [had CaseMate on my GS2, Nexus & GS3 and always thought the build quality was superb].
Anyway, we got this case at the same time as my CaseMate [Barely there] arrived and fitted them to our GS3’s. Both were a very snug fit, however my girlfriends was a much tighter fit.
My case fitted perfectly and wrapped around the phone nicely, this case fitted well but doesn’t wrap around as much.
After about a week a crack started to form in one of the corners of this case, so I contact customer services and they sent me a new one very swiftly. We fitted the new case to the phone and again this was a very tight fit and didn’t wrap around the phone as much as the barely there case.
Again after about a week the case started to crack in the corner, then another corner, then another, then another. Now all the corners are cracked and even some of the case has broken away in one corner.
I thought about contacting customer services again and getting it replaced again, but don’t see the point as now I’ve had 2 and both of them have failed in the same way.
Very disappointed with this.
On the plus side, it is a very attractive case and the back sparkles brilliantly.
