This does the job. It's very simple device, one bit plugs into your phone & the other is a small single button remote that will trigger your phones camera & take a photo.
The manual said you need to use 'camera 360' app on your android device, but I found it worked right away using the standard camera app on the 4.3 ROM I am running (slimbean - Samsung Galaxy S4). So I tried with some other apps (like instagram) & it didn't work. So it seems only some camera apps support this kind of remote.
But Paired with a holder & screwed to a monopod I found I was also able to use this remote to capture some pretty strange angles; by holding phone up high attached to a monopod & taking 'birds eye views' with remote taking the shots.
It's a cool little device, I reckon i'll find many other uses & the range on it is pretty decent; i was able to trigger from just over 10 metres away.
