The main body of the case is covered in 300D water resistant micro ripstop material with plastic edges to maintain a strong supportive frame. The inside is lined with soft microsuede in order to keep the iPad Mini 3 / 2 scratch free. However as the name suggest the case is skinny and lightweight so no unnecessary bulk is added.
