This case will protect the back and front from pocket scuffs and scratches I would think.
It's very thin though as there's no frame to hold the phone. The phone is held in place with a sticky pad. I have placed my phone onto and off this sticky pad about 6 or 7 times now, and remarkably it still works just as well. I don't know how many insertions and removals you'll actually get, but at least it's not just one shot.
The flap closes nicely, and it's compatbile with most docks, as the edge of the phone is actually bare when you fold the case over.
No problems with camera flash bounce, so this is one of the few book or folio style cases I've found that doesn't impede the camera use.
