i really like this cover because it looks expensive, i love the colour - almost fluorescent,it feels good, not bulky as it's really slim. Nice surprise that the back feels so smooth and looks really good.i wanted the flap to shade the screen a little when taking photos, and it does. Best of all it fits perfectly and helps to stop me pressing the left side volume button every time i switch it on!

This cover consists of a replacement back for your phone, with a flip-over cover built into it. So you discard the back cover that comes with your phone and put this one on in its place.

The thin but sturdy front cover then folds over onto the front of the phone and provides reasonable protection of the screen considering it's so light and compact. It's also shaped so that the underside of the cover sits down onto the glass within the recess created by the slightly raised external bezel of the phone, while the slightly raised top surface of the cover sits over the bezel. Hence it doesn't slide around on the glass or flop open too easily, but it is simple to open when you need to access the phone.

However, if you're using a screen protector, which effectively raises the 'screen' up to the level of the surrounding bezel, the cover won't sit within the bezel and tends to slide around and flop open too easily, in which case you may be better off with a more conventional case.

I found this case to be exactly what I was looking for. The S3 mini is a basic smartphone that is very slim, the beauty of this case is that it replaces the original back with an identical back except the new back incorporates a flip screen cover. The phone is therfore as slim as ever. The product is a genuine Samsung part, it matched and fitted exactly and I couldn't be more pleased. Mobile fun despatched it quickly and cheaply would recommend this seller.

This flip cover matches the phone beautifully especially as the cover colour matches the phone. It looks really smart and in fact it's the nicest phone cover I've ever seen or had. One drawback though, and the reason i I didn't give it five stars is that the whole back cover of the phone has to be taken off and the flip cover has a new back cover attached to it which replaces the existing phone back. It keeps it remarkably slim and good looking but it doesn't protect the sides of the phone. Only time will tell if the new back cover wears well or not and hopefully the sides of the phone don't get too scratched. So there you go, you either have a more bulky cover that protects the whole phone or this official Samsung cover that looks really smart but not sure what the phone will look like in a few months. It's also fairly expensive but looks great! I like it!

This is a very clever piece of kit, and by removing the back cover of the phone hardly detracts from it's overall size. A slimline cover for this little phone. Adds no weight or thickness, therefore retaining it's perfect fit in the hand. No clips or magnetic closures, but stays closed when carried in a handbag. Although more expensive than my previous leather cover, just seems more feminine and dainty. Perfect accessory for the s111 mini. Love it.

It's just made for the phone, and it does a good job

To fit it, the back of the phone is removed (which you'll have done earlier to insert the battery, SIM and memory card, and then this clips on in it's place. This means that the phone ends up only 1 - 2 mm thicker, just the thickness of the front flap.

The flexible plastic hinge allows the flap to fold back against the rear of the phone, so it can be out of the way during calls and if you lie the phone down or put it in a holder.

There is no catch to hold it closed, but it stays closed in my pocket, and there is no trouble fumbling to open it when answering a call. There is a cut-out for the front speaker, so presumably you could answer calls without opening it if the on-off switch was set to answer, but I have disabled this.

The sockets and main switch are uncovered, while the vulnerable (and stupidly ill designed) volume buttons are protected from accidental adjustment.

All in all I am delighted with this, and wish a similar design had been available for my previous phones.

I wanted a "quality" product and, that's exactly what I received. This case "oozes" quality. It's somewhat more expensive than the non-genuine alternatives however, it fitted 1st time with a reassuring “click” and, looks and feels great! Very easy to fit, just remove the original case back from the phone then fit the replacement and because it's a genuine Samsung accessory it's just spot-on ... You can't go wrong with a genuine accessory!

I searched and researched long and hard to find a case for my new phone and this case has been well worth the effort! It fits perfectly and does not obstruct any of the vital parts of the phone. The case cover folds back completely flat if needed to, which makes it very 'user-friendly'. There does not seem to be anything on the market which is comparable and the dark blue colour is perfect. It looks really good but, to be honest, the relatively high price almost put me off from ordering in the first place and I hesitated for over a week. I am glad I took the chance, though, because it has proved to be an excellent purchase! The awarding of four stars is only down to the price.
