  I've been using the Commuter case for about two weeks now and it is awesome. It's sturdy, solid and has handy rubber flaps to cover the ports. The case is in two parts, there's a rubber sleeve which wraps around the phone then a hard plastic case which goes on top of this. I was initially wary about the plastic case as I've had these before and the plastic has snapped but this hasn't been an issue. The buttons are all easily accessible.
  
  There's been some negative reviews about the screen guard which comes with the case, I've applied it and not had any issues. I can definitley recommend this product.

  Very good case. Well designed, easy to fit, and proven to be very tough indeed.
  
  I was worried that this case would be a little too chunky especially as the Nexus is already a pretty large phone. However it still fits just fine in my pocket.
  
  Also I tend not to charge my phone directly and swap out the batteries and was a little concerned that the case would be a hassle to take on and off but it is very quick and easy to remove and replace.
  
  There is a small lip of rubber all the way around the front which is handy as when face down it doesn't slip off the dash board.
  
  The port covers fit very well, and have given good protection from sand on the beach.
  
  This weekend I dropped the phone 15 feet from a tree onto some fairly hard ground and is just bounced. I was very impressed.

  Purchased this case as I am constantl dropping my phone. This case is very protective and the finish is of a very high quality. It is no bigger than any other case I have had before but the two layers are very protective. Very pleased :-)
