Substitute HDMI with Cat 5e/6 cable for greater range
HDMI cables often support a fairly short distance of transmission - so if your HDTV is far away from your set-top box, games console, Blu-ray player or other HDMI compatible device - you may run into problems. The HDMI Extender Adapter instead uses Ethernet cables to extend the range much further up to 30 metres for,1080p resolution.
Simply plug the 'Sender' box into your source device, which may be your Blu-ray player for example. Then plug two Ethernet cables into both the supplied 'Sender' and 'Receiver' boxes, finally inserting the 'Receiver' into your HDTV. You are now already up and running!
